Yesterday, a couple of co-workers and I went karting in Richmond, VA. It is a 2 hour, 300 laps endurance race.
Teaming up with Mahesh and Nikhil in the number 3 car, we had a great time blasting around the track. I think we did get up to 30-40mph on the back straight. Racing against Joe and Paul in the number 10 car, and 6 other teams of experienced drivers, it was a physically demanding race and we finished in a respectable 8th place, or in another word, First, if counting from the bottom : )

300laps?1?! will u fill DIZZING?!!?!!?!??! @_@''
that's why it's called, "endurance" ... lala ... tough ... but i missed the chance in racing ... given for the fact that i have never driven a go-cart before.
since we were not going in circle, we don't get dizzy. however, since you sit very low in the go kart, you really feel the speed, and because the kart does not have much suspension, you feel all the vibrations from the ground. since the grip is quite good, when you take some of the turns, you can go full throttle and your body, especially the neck will feel all the g-froce....quite fun but physically demanding. connie should come with us the next time to try it out
