A1 GP
People that knows me know that I like Formula 1. Well, it is off season now and while I was flipping channels, I came across some clips of a A1 GP race on Speed Channel. Checked the program listings and found they were re-broadcasting 2 previous A1 GP races this weekend, though at a not-too-great timeslot....between 3am and 5am!
I am not a big fan of A1 GP, but it is an interesting idea to have identical race cars racing, with drivers representing their home countries instead of teams. At least it is a closer racing than F1 and every driver has a much better chance to get on the podium than in F1. On the first race that I watched - Czech Republic, guess what.....it was won by Alex Yoong!
The last time that I saw Alex Yoong racing, it was back in 2001. At the 2001 USGP in Indianapolis, he was partnering Fernando Alonso at Minardi. Poor Alex was just trying to keep up to his ultrafast teammate. I remember very clear that he was falling behind like 1 or 2 seconds a lap to Alonso.
Fast forward to 2007, more than 5 years later...team Minardi was sold to Red Bull (Scuderia Toro Rosso), Alonso went on to win the F1 World Championship - twice, and I am so very glad to see Alex Yoong found a racing series that he can have some acheivements. Other than Alex Yoong, A1 GP also got a few ex-F1 drivers/test drivers....worth checking it out if you are an autoracing fan too!

Wednesday
Starting this week, I will cook dinner every Wednesday. And for tonight, I will cook one of my favorvite dishes....
1 2 3 4 5 Ribs!
Why does it call 1 2 3 4 5? Well, it is because that is the proportion* of the ingredients of the sauce.
1 - Cooking Wine
2 - Vinegar
3 - Sugar
4 - Soy Sauce
5 - Water
Looking forward to enjoy the wonderful ribs!
* can be a cup, teaspoon, tablespoon...etc, depending on the quantity of the ribs

Have you noticed.........?
Every once in a while, I will see some interesting and nicely designed gift cards at the Target store. Picked up this one just a few days ago, guess it is supposed to be a stained glass, really like it.
