Pizza Thursday
Every Thursday, for the month of March, we are having Domino's pizzas for lunch at work. Since this is for the various groups under my director, they have ordered a lot, and I mean a lot, of pizzas, BBQ wings, hot wings, cinnamon sticks and sodas. Just look at the stacks of pizza boxes after the fiasco....and this is only for day shift, they did the same for swing shift and mid shift!!!
Try counting the number of empty boxes here in the kitchen, and don't forget to add the 3 boxes that are out in the service center!
Big Burger
Yesterday afterwork, I went with a few co-workers to this restaurant called Cheeburger Cheeburger for their "Famous Pounder" hamburger. As you can see in the pics, it is a big burger.
Well, with the support of my fellow co-workers, especially Philip, who joined me and had the pounder too; I was able to finish it and our pics are now proudly posted on the "Wall of Fame"!!

Bagelwich
Had a similar bagelwich at Einstein Bros. Bagels recently and decided to make this at home during the weekend. I thought it was quite a nice treat for lunch, along with a cup of coffee.
Here are the ingredients:
- Bagel
- Trader Joe's canned wild Alaskan smoked salmon
- Kraft Miracle Whip
- Red Onion
- Tomatos
- Guacamole
- Alfalfa sprout
- Dijon mustard
- Cucumber
Mix the salmon chunks and the Miracle Whip together, kind of like making Tuna Salad. Skinned the cucumber and cut it into thin slices. Cut the bagel open and spread some guacamole onto the 2 halves, pile in the red onion, alfalfa sprout, tomato slices & cucumber slices. Add some dijon mustard if you like its zesty taste.
Try it and feel free to give me your comment/suggestion.

50!!!!!
Today marks the big "five-o" for, not me, of course, the Lego brick. It was on this day in 1958 that the interlocking Lego brick was patented.
I am a big fan of Lego and would like to say:
Happy B'day Lego brick!

Trams
Hong Kong trams - a slow, basic and old fashioned form of public transportation.
For myself, I absoutely love the trams. Though it may be slow, but that is exactly the speed to enjoy and absorb the scenery on both sides of the street. Not only does it add a lot of history and character to the daily life of Hong Kong, and with its colorful and eye-catching advertisements, how can one not to like it?
Lately, I have started to collect trams photos on the web, and realized how many of them are out there and I can imagine there are even more that are not documented.
I took these photos while I was visiting HK in October and am hoping whoever that has other trams pics, will forward them to me to add to my collection.

Pretz & Pocky
Saw these 2 new green tea flavored porky sticks at a local Chinese grocery store a few days ago. It was kind of on the expensive side at $2.69 each. Thought for a little bit, and since I like green tea, I decided to give them a try and compare them.
Porky Marble with green tea and chocolate
- 3 small packs
Porky Marble with green tea and chocolate
- 3 small packs
- 4 sticks per pack
- 12 sticks total = $.224 each (ouch!!)
I tried and found the chocolate flavor too strong and overpowered the green tea flavor.....don't like it : (
Green Tea Pretz
- 4 small packs
- 9 sticks per pack
- 36 sticks total = $ .075 each (reasonable)
the lightly glazed stick has a rich green tea flavor to it....absolutely love it, highly recommended : )
